Life Skill Essentials

Created for dogs 25 weeks and older, On Q K9 Life Skill Essential classes offer training that builds on basic skills to develop more consistent behaviours. Using training techniques that include games, toys and play, instructors work to make each class a fun and interactive experience for you and your dog.

You will learn to teach your dog the polite way to meet and greet people and other dogs, to be touched by strangers like vets or visiting family members, to come when called, to sit still while the leash is put on and to let go of toys when asked. Classes also introduce loose leash walking, coming when called, impulse control, as well as how to pay attention and ignore distractions.

On Q K9 Life Skill Essential classes are perfect for anyone that has adopted a new dog (even older dogs), or would simply like to begin working on training with their dog.
